"Stay Down" is the latest hot video from Mary J. Blige. I like this song a lot but actually didn't like the video. This is song is a really sweet R&B ballad and is typical Mary J. Blige - really awesome.
But this video has shots of Mary J. in the Arctic with a lot of national geographic like footage of frozen tundra and it doesn't go with this song. So while Mary J. Blige is singing about love lost in this emotional ballad we see in the video Mary J. meets Happy Feet. I think it's a strange combination and doesn't work for me.
"Stay Down" is the second single from Blige's new album "Growing Pains" and was written by her and Johnta Austin.
