This is a great song and strong vocals from young talent Lil Mama. The video starts out with Lil Mama on the roof top of her apartment overlooking her rundown neighborhood. It's a gritty song about growing up in the inner city. You see scenes of Lil Mama depicting what's it like to be a girl growing up in the projects. She's really good and reminds me of Mary J. Blige but younger.
