Myspace in Talks to Partner With Major Record Labels

Good news for myspace and music fanatics alike. Myspace.com is in talks with the major record labels to form a partnership in which Myspace would become a distributor of music, dowloads and streaming videos. Myspace Music groups is one of the most popular music sites in the world with fans, friends, and bands forming various groups. Myspace Music also hosts numerous websites for popular artists and rockstars. Under this deal Myspace is rumored to be considering serveral revenue models including giving videos for free and making money off of advertising and or selling downloads like itunes. The record labels would get a share of this revenue.
